Those people weren't being beat up because they were going to be food, fucknuts.
Directed at Peta, of course.
Edit: wait, reasoning with peta. Nevermind.

Fuck it, every video I download has some sort of error. I'll just make my video tomorrow.

Part of me wants to start a collab for this ad and/or or peta in general.
Mainly because I'm in the process of making another video with it. There's something wrong with me.

I might be alone on this one, but the abusive husband at the very beginning sounds like a ridiculous character voice that Adam Sandler would do, making it(at least for me) im-fucking-possible to take this seriously right from the start.

I can't help but wonder why Paul McCartney doesn't leave PETA and start his own sane organisation.

Tbh I actually do beleive that animals should be killed humanely, even if dumb fish. Still pretty stupid to compare it to domestic abuse etc.
Probably gonna be hated now.

No one should ever be militant about a preference.
Especially since the preference has been, dare I say, the norm ever since oh I dunno the dawn of man? If someone doesn't want to eat meat, it should be a personal preference, not a battle of morals, or else we should scold every animal in the animal kingdom for killing other animals too, because we're animals in the animal kingdom.
Wait, forgot again

I won't debate whether or not eating animals is wrong, but your argument is the appeal to nature fallacy followed by appeal to tradition. The same argument could be made about people killing other people over trivial things as a preference, which has also been around since the dawn of man.Jamesdeth said:No one should ever be militant about a preference.

Anyway, when I saw PETA's video my first idea was to dub in a Big Mouth Bass song, but of course that's been done. I'll try to come up with something.

When you're putting it in context of killing other people, you neglect everything that makes us human, such as being sapient in the first place (putting us above other animals in that regard). When it comes to eating, there's no way it could be perceived that consuming another creature for the sake of survival is wrong, (except for, like, killing and wasting, which happens way too much I admit), and I feel 'survival' can be used loosely. I still believe we as humans are contenders in nature much as is every plant and animal, we just have an enormous advantage because we're have the greatest ability nature has to offer, wisdom.
Plus, again, we're not killing each other for food. Also, my bigger argument here is still no one should be this militant over what is basically a lifestyle.

My screams were definitely heard when I saw that film.

You're still arguing the same basic logical fallacies. Something being natural isn't a valid argument, nor is something being ancient, traditional or omnipresent.Jamesdeth said:When you're putting it in context of killing other people, you neglect everything that makes us human, such as being sapient in the first place (putting us above other animals in that regard). I'm not defending PETA or its videos in any way, though, or attacking the premise that killing animals is wrong.

Because Rhetoric, Cynn.
I see what you're saying, Nav, but I just don't feel I'm ready to be convinced that natural order holds no bearing today.

My argument is that some animals just don't need the same rights as people. I don't know if a fish is even sentient.
It's a bit more ambiguous when you're talking about animals like dogs, apes, dolphins, which can clearly think and emote to some degree.

I don't think anyone realizes PETA killed that fish.

Fish are so stupid that they will bite the same hook twice or more. I think that's the definition of insanity or something hell if I know.
It almost feels wrong to have many different standards just because one animal is [basically more human-like] than another, but I think that just might be what it comes down to.

Interesting to see some people just reversing the clip to simulate talking, Vs. those who mask the fish and only reverse it so the Chef in the background isn't thrusting back and forth really fast.

Even so, no animals deserve any cruelty, so killing them should be as humane as possible.
Fish are different though, because we don't farm them. Fishermen go out into the ocean and catch them, then they die. You can't really get any more humane than that, other than not catching them at all, which is clearly what PeTA wants.
That said, we technically don't need meat, or any animal products. It would require a significant change of lifestyle for everyone considering how many things we use are made from animals, but life could go on without it. But just because we don't need it, does that mean we shouldn't have it? These are the questions.
Anyway, I can mask pretty easily but I put literally no effort into my response

Eco-terrorist groups like ALF or all these other people just proves that you can have terrorist groups for any damn thing these days.

Personally, life would be boring without meat, and unnecessarily difficult without animal byproduct.
I can respect being a vegetarian for health reasons, but I'm totally lost as to why would people choose to from a moral standpoint. And this means you, Peta. What is it about chopping that fish up that is as bad as domestic violence, mugging, and hazing? Or at all? I'm lost as to how people can see cooking that fish as negative in any way. This may be that apeal to nature bullshit that nav was stomping on my nuts about, but I really don't see how me eating that fish is different from a bigger fish eating that fish, we're both hungry.

I suppose some people see it like, since we have the ability to choose vegetarianism (while other animals don't), then we should choose it.
I'm not a vegetarian, but I do understand that point.

I don't see how not eating animals will make this world a better place is I guess where I'm ultimately stuck.
Also I'm working on a video now.

Don't know how much of that image is simple slander, but that's a lot of animals killed to write that off "mercy killing"

Fish have to have their babies separated from them in a fish tank or else they'll eat them
A fish can kill itself from overeating
This means that its entirely possible for a fish to eat itself to death with its own babies
PEOPLE THINK HUMANS ARE DUMB
